NEOs tape drives are easily removed and replaced, providing for easy upgradability to nextgeneration tape drive technologies. Available in SCSI, Fibre Channel or SAS configurations, NEOs libraries provide flexible connectivity options for a wide range of environments. With capacities of up to 76.8TB, NEOs libraries pack the maximum amount of data storage capability into the minimum amount of space. Expansion (planned for Q1 CY10) allows you to combine your NEO 400s library with other NEOs libraries and appear to the host as a single library. This flexibility enables you to leverage your investment by having efficient methods of operation.

Ease of use
Web-based remote management ensures easy and convenient management of the backup and archive process from anywhere in the world. Removable cartridge magazines ensure easy access to data and reduce media handling costs. Standard barcode readers provide faster inventory times and facilitate tracking of media. User-configurable mail slots provide easy, secure access to individual tape cartridges.

Ease of installation
All NEOs libraries are delivered as rack-ready for quick installation into a standard 19” rack. Additional tape drives can be easily and quickly installed in your NEOs library for improved performance efficiency.

Data Availability
NEOs libraries provide peace-of-mind with a field-proven reliability of more than 2,000,000 robotic movements between failures. Encryption key-management (planned for Q1 CY10) ensures the data privacy, confidentiality and integrity of business critical data while supporting compliance requirements.
