The NEO 8000 tape library provides an ideal long-term, cost-effective data storage and archiving solution for organizations with large amounts of mission-critical data. The NEO 8000's robustness, flexibility and reliability meet the needs of the most demanding data center environments.

The NEO 8000 is designed to accommodate rapid growth and data center consolidation, with the ability to scale quickly from as few as 100 to as many as 1,000 cartridges and up to 24 tape drives. It provides almost limitless flexibility with advanced non-stop operation, remote failover, and expansion-on-demand capabilities. It supports a wide range of connectivity options, including SCSI, iSCSI and native fibre channel. The NEO 8000 even includes a unique virtual interface architecture that makes it easy to use multiple interfaces simultaneously and implement future technologies as they become available.
