No more islands of storage! With the iSCSI support feature in GuardianOS, SnapServer solutions can store, manage and protect both file and block data regardless of location. Included in SnapServer NAS 650 and 620 and optional for SnapServer NAS 410, 210, and 100, GuardianOS iSCSI enables IT administrators to easily consolidate storage across multiple servers and is ideal for localized, distributed and virtualized environments.
Unified Storage Across Distributed Environments
The iSCSI support option for GuardianOS enables SnapServer NAS systems to securely manage, store, and distribute block data across an existing Ethernet network using industry-standard iSCSI initiators. SnapServer NAS systems with GuardianOS iSCSI support make deployment of application servers and the consolidation of multiple servers across the network easy and effortless. With NFS and iSCSI support, GuardianOS allows the consolidation of storage in Virtual Environments enabled by products such as VMware ESX and Citrix XenServer.

Applications:
